rain Jade society is the umbrella for the work of nancy chang
Rain Jade Society centers on the Asian Diaspora and it’s intersections; it serves as an umbrella for organizing my work as a social entrepreneur, artist, educator, culture shifter and advocate for a more compassionate world.

Pioneering Inclusive Spaces
Nancy Chang, Che Sehyun, Markham Lee, and James Miles
I am a first generation Taiwanese-American who has specialized in building inclusive spaces through my experiences working at the City of Redmond’s Teen Program’s Old Fire House Teen Center (2003-2014), establishing the non-profit Skate Like a Girl (2006-2018), and working in arts education with Reel Grrls and Arts Corps (2014-2019).
Through my professional career as a public servant I have met so many amazing people. In 2019, I started We Educate People, a podcast with James Miles as part of Rainier Avenue Radio’s community radio program. James and I focused We Educate People showcasing people centering on decolonizing the future.
Consultant, Speaker and Coach
Whether you are looking for a key note speaker, facilitator, leadership training, personal development coach, or consultant for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), you can reach out to me and my network of seasoned educators, trainers, innovators, and creatives.
Asian Diaspora Artist
Currently I am working on archiving my work from the early 2000’s before I went all in on my Arts Administrator endurance piece from 2003-2019. You can follow my work as a born again performance artist on IG @nantronic, where I am focused on exploring feminine and masculine energy in #BecomingGuanYin and #AsianRedneck. Big shout out to my first patron: Patty Fung, who I also featured in Greetings from the Asian Diaspora Blog.
